About the Role

We are looking for a Head of IT Infrastructure to lead and manage the company’s IT environment, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable technology services. This role drives IT strategy, oversees cloud and on-premises systems, networks, and security, and ensures high-quality end-user support. The Head of IT Infrastructure also manages IT budgeting, disaster recovery, and strategic projects to enable operational efficiency and business continuity across the organization.

Role Summary

The Head of IT Infrastructure will lead the IT Infrastructure team and ensure the stability, performance, and security of the company's IT environment, while driving strategic initiatives and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the IT Infrastructure team to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery within budget.
• Oversee the performance, availability, and security of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud environments.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and hybrid data center environments, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Manage network operations, system administration, and IT security, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.
• Oversee backup and disaster recovery solutions, including cloud-to-cloud backups, to ensure data protection and business continuity.
• Provide direction on IT budgeting, resource planning, and cost optimization.
• Oversee end-user support services, ensuring high service standards and continuous improvement.
• Provide oversight and guidance on the resolution of complex IT issues to minimize operational disruption.
• Collaborate with business units to align IT solutions with organizational needs.
• Plan and implement IT infrastructure projects, including upgrades, cloud initiatives, and system enhancements.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security controls in line with best practices.
• Monitor system performance and provide insights to support informed decision-making.

Internal & External Interactions

Internal:

• Interact with all employees to ensure IT needs are met and provide technical support.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align IT systems with business goals.

External:

• Collaborate with external vendors and IT consultants for sourcing, maintenance, and industry trend updates.

What We’re Looking For

Education:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (preferred).

Experience:

• 7+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure management, network administration, and system security required.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure administration.
• Proven expertise in managing hybrid IT infrastructure (on-premises and cloud environments).
• Advanced knowledge of network administration, system administration, and IT security practices.
• Experience in backup solutions, including cloud-to-cloud backup management and disaster recovery planning
• Solid understanding of IT budgeting, cost control, and resource planning.
• Demonstrated ability to manage end-user support services and IT service delivery frameworks.
• Proven track record in leading IT teams and delivering secure, scalable, and reliable IT infrastructure solutions.
• Strong understanding of IT service delivery methodologies and best practices.
• Possession of relevant IT certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CCNA, CCNP, Security+, CISSP) is a plus.
