Data Entry & Documentation Officer
Location: Bahawalpur
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Relevant Field
Experience: 3 or more years of experience
Job Description:
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate records of program data using tools like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, CSPro, KOBO Toolbox, or other data management systems.
- Verify and cross-check data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Identify and rectify data entry errors and discrepancies.
- Ensure all data complies with ITA’s standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with field teams, research and documentation associates, project managers, and M&E staff to collect and validate data.
- Write reports for various project activities such as training, health camps etc., maintain MOVs and work on weekly, and monthly reports as required by reporting associate.
- Communicate any data inconsistencies or issues with relevant stakeholders.
- Organize and maintain project-related documents online and offline records.
- Ensure adherence to ITA’s and British Council’s code of conduct, policies, and procedures, as well as compliance with Safeguarding and PSEA policies.
- Generate periodic reports or summaries as required by the supervisor.
- Maintain an online spreadsheet which will have daily data entry numbers.
- Operate ITA’s data collection and management tools (e.g., CSPro, KOBO Toolbox, STATA, or other software).
- Assist in troubleshooting basic system-related issues.
- Adhere to ITA’s data protection and confidentiality policies.
- Maintain the integrity and security of data at all times.
- Any task assigned by Line Manager.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Docs and managemnet of data both offline and online records
- Experience with data management tools like CSPro, KOBO Toolbox, STATA, or SPSS is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under minimal supervision.
- Experience working at the district level with familiarity with community-based data collection.
- Experience in managing field level data collection of quantitative and qualitative data.
- Effective leadership, collaboration, interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills.
