Data Entry Specialist

We are seeking a Data Entry Assistant with a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle large volumes of data. This role requires experience with cash handling, document management, and familiarity with construction industry operations. The ideal candidate should be reliable, disciplined, and willing to follow instructions carefully while maintaining a positive and cooperative attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry: Accurately enter large amounts of data, including records, invoices, and other construction-related data.

Cash Handling: Manage daily cash transactions, ensuring accurate records and proper documentation of cash flow in terms of filing.

Document Printing and Filing: Print and organize construction-related documents, contracts, and invoices.

Data Support: Assist with general data entry tasks such as updating records, and preparing basic reports.

Attention to Detail: Ensure all entered data transactions are accurate and consistent.

Administrative Support: Help with filing, organizing, and scanning documents to ensure the smooth running of the office.

Communication: Listen carefully and follow instructions to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in Data Entry: Prior experience in a data entry role, particularly in construction, with a strong understanding of entry processes.

Cash Handling Experience: Demonstrated experience managing cash, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records of cash flow.

Construction Knowledge: Basic knowledge of construction mechanisms, operations, and industry terminology is highly desirable.

Attention to Detail: Ability to manage and review large volumes of data with high accuracy.

Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Communication Skills: Strong listening and communication abilities to follow instructions clearly.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and other document management software.

Personal Attributes:

Obedient: Willingness to follow instructions and complete tasks diligently.

Positive Attitude: No attitude problems; must be approachable and collaborative.

Trustworthy and Responsible: Able to manage sensitive documents confidentially.

Education:

Minimum High School Diploma required; a degree in accounting or a related field is a plus.

Any certifications related to cash management, or construction management will be beneficial.
