Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team at our Sheraton Al Matar office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining critical data related to customer orders, product specifications, and inventory. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our sales and production workflow, directly contributing to our reputation for reliability and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter customer order details, measurements, and specifications from sales forms into the company’s database/ERP system.
  • Update and maintain product information, pricing, and inventory levels.
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents and review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any discrepancies.
  • Generate routine reports from the database for the sales and production teams.
  • Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality and security of all customer and company data.
  • Assist with scanning, filing, and organizing digital copies of orders and documents.
  • Collaborate with the sales and catalog teams to ensure data integrity across all platforms.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or in a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent typing speed and superior accuracy with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with database management systems is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of administrative procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training is an asset.

  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Trustworthy with a strong sense of discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Proactive and willing to learn about our products (shutters, blinds, etc.) to better understand the data being processed.
