Job Title: Database Admin (SQL) - Rawalpindi

Location: Rawalpindi (On-Premise)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled SQL Server DBA with hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to manage, maintain, and optimize our databases. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Financials, Supply Chain, and Fixed Assets modules of Oracle EBS and possess strong SQL Server administration skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain databases (SQL / MySQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL)
• Ensure database performance, availability, security, and integrity
• Perform regular backups, recovery, and disaster-recovery planning
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
• Manage user access, roles, and permissions
• Optimize queries, indexes, and database structures
• Coordinate with development and IT teams for database-related support
• Maintain proper documentation and reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database architecture
• Experience with backup, recovery, and performance tuning
• Understanding of data security and compliance best practices
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills (Plus):

• Experience with cloud databases (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell)
• Experience with high-availability and replication setups
