Daycare Teacher

The Generali School of Literature and the Arts is a childcare center for children 6 weeks old through preschool. Our schools mission statement is dedicated to providing the children in its care a literacy rich environment while integrating the arts and play into the daily curriculum. GSLA features 8,000 square feet which includes an art studio, music and movement rooms, library, STEAM area, and spacious playground. It is the school’s intent to provide learning experiences that will position children for future academic and social success.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Providing an environment that is safe, welcoming and enriching for all of the children
• Planning and implementing the daily curriculum
• Establishing a positive rapport with children, parents and staff
• Organization/cleanliness / décor of classroom environment
• Following CT state regulations
• Coming to work with a positives attitude and smile!

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

• Childcare teaching experience/babysitting/nanny (1 year)
• Love of children
• Positive attitude
• Belief in our Mission Statement

Schedule:

• Both Full Time & Part Time Opportunities Available- Monday thru Friday

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
