Daycare Teacher

Bright Beginnings Learning Center is currently seeking a flexible, nurturing, and energetic Floater Teacherto join our team for 30–40 hours per week, with potential for additional hours based on center needs.

Position Details:

• Hours: Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Location: Bright Beginnings Learning Center- Niles, Oh
• Starting Pay: $11.50/hour, based on experience and education

Requirements:

• Must pass an FBI/BCI background check
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to follow ODJFS rules and Step Up to Quality guidelines
• Willing to complete required Step Up to Quality and health trainings
• Must be compassionate, upbeat, and dependable
• Must have complete availability during the center's open hours- 6:30 am to 6:00 pm!

Duties (including but not limited to):

• Providing classroom support as needed across infant, toddler, and preschool age groups
• Building warm, supportive relationships with children and staff
• Assisting with daily routines, transitions, and supervision
• Helping maintain cleanliness and organization of learning spaces
• Following all health, safety, and licensing protocols
• Being a positive and flexible team player who steps in wherever needed
