Dental Treatment Coordinator

Periodontal Associates (Centennial)

As a treatment Coordinator for Periodontal Associates, patient case acceptance will be your top priority and focus.

Treatment Coordinators are a critical part of our team because they not only support the patient, they provide the bridge between the Doctor and the patient. They have a direct responsibility for the patient’s outstanding experience here. From the moment the patient enters our office to the moment they leave we want our patients to know that they are well cared for. We want you to feel challenged and appreciated to allow for your professional development and growth. We are very close office and we want you to feel welcome to our team.

Our office is searching for a talented treatment coordinator who wants to provide excellent customer service for patients, provide support to the team and have a fun, relaxed chair-side manner. Currently we are seeking a team member to be available full time 4 days a week. Monday-Thursday.

What we expect from our assistant team members:

  • Must have dental insurance knowledge
  • Take direction from Dr. Thousand, and assist him with case acceptance for periodontal and surgical procedures
  • Schedule patients for treatment
  • Collect payment from patients and assist with consent forms prior to surgical visits
  • Demonstrate good teamwork to deliver an extraordinary experience for every patient
  • Work with insurance agencies to maximize patients benefits for surgical or periodontal procedures
  • Schedule patients for surgical procedures, follow up and hygiene visits
  • Coordinate sedation appointments and medications for patients prior to surgery
  • Participate in daily huddles to ensure that every single day flows smoothly
  • Excel spreadsheets
  • Word documents
  • Multi tasking

Education/Certification:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current certification in (CPR) preferred

Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent positive attitude and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills
  • Previous experience in scheduling dental appointments.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
  • Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs as required
  • Verifying insurance
  • Running morning huddle
  • Periodontal experience

Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
