Purpose
To ensure technical excellence, standardization, compliance, and effective cross-functional coordination across Net Metering operations. The role is responsible for managing technical communications, overseeing SIP and metering processes, driving process improvement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing system efficiency through standardization and stakeholder engagement.

Area Of Responsibilities
1 Technical Communication & Liaison:
-
Act as the primary point of contact for technical coordination between Net Metering and Ops, RMTD, Network Planning, and AMI teams.

Address technical challenges related to SIPs, meter installations, and programming.

Ensure stakeholder expectations and timelines are met effectively.
2 SIP Review, Costing & Execution
-
Review and validate SIPs for cases breaching 80% transformer thresholds.
-
Ensure accurate costing aligned with PV load requirements and communicate with the Customer Experience (CX) team.

Monitor execution of SIPs at the applicant’s cost and escalate delays where necessary.
3 Meter Installation & Programming Coordination

Oversee timely and accurate case transfers to RMTD and AMI teams.

Ensure bi-directional meters are programmed and installed as per standard requirements.

Troubleshoot programming or installation issues in collaboration with technical teams.
4 Standardization & Process Improvement

Identify process gaps within the Net Metering workflow and propose improvements.

Develop, review, and update SOPs, SLAs/OLAs, and process flows.

Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and enforce standardized practices.
5 Training

Conduct internal training sessions to update teams on new processes or regulations.

Organize awareness and compliance sessions for licensed solar installers.

Ensure all practices align with NEPRA/PPIB and internal standards.
6 SAP Process Monitoring & Technology Integration

Regularly review SAP workflows related to Net Metering.

Recommend system modifications and support their implementation.

Evaluate new tools or technologies to improve operational accuracy and efficiency.
7 Project Management

Lead or support cross-functional technical projects, including system upgrades or new feature implementations.

Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication for assigned projects.
8 Reporting & Visibility

Provide regular updates and dashboards on SIPs, meter installation progress, and standardization efforts.

Report risks, issues, and performance insights to senior management.
