Engineering Manager

Office Field is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities : 

•    Lead and manage overall phases of development cycle

•    Planning and overseeing technical projects from inception till closure timely with ownership

•    Must establish and maintain processes for engineering tasks, including code reviews, testing, and deployment.

•    Provide technical guidance and support to teams on technical matters

•    Conduct weekly meetings, discuss future plans for the organization and make key decisions about how and where we can improve

•    Identify and address technical risks associated with projects and ensure that appropriate mitigation strategies are in place

•    Continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to ensure that their team is working efficiently and effectively

•    Keeping the engineering level of engagement high

Requirements : 

•    Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience

•    8+ years of experience including management and software development

•    Microservices/Websockets/ETL/API experience preferred

•    Languages: Javascript frameworks, Php, Python 

•    Database: Mysql, MongoDB, Firebase 

•    Front-End Libraries Knowledge: VueJS/ReactJS, Jquery

•    Cloud platform: AWS, GCP

•    Familiarity with UI/UX design

•    Demonstrate ability to run and improve technical development processes

•    Proven experience in leading development teams

•    Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture

•    Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
