We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and design-savvy individual to support our team across design execution, materials management, and studio operations.
Position Overview:
This multifaceted role is ideal for a recent graduate or emerging designer eager to gain hands-on experience in luxury interiors. You will assist senior designers on active projects, maintain the studio’s material library, and provide essential administrative and project support. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to all stages of the design process while learning from an experienced, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Support
- Assist in the development of design presentations and concepts.
- Assist in creation of detailed floor plans, elevations, and FF&E layouts using AutoCAD and/or Sketchup.
- Produce visual materials including 3D renderings, digital collages, and sample boards, as appropriate.
- Source finishes, fixtures, and furnishings aligned with luxury standards and project vision.
- Help prepare client deliverables, specification books, and finish schedules.
Studio Library Management
- Maintain and organize the material and sample library, ensuring resources are current and easily accessible.
- Maintain vendor relationships: request samples and stay informed on product launches and design innovations.
- Oversee the tracking, labeling, and return of borrowed samples, as appropriate.
- Implement and uphold library systems to support design efficiency and studio aesthetics.
Administrative & Project Assistance
- Support designers with procurement tracking, installation coordination, and vendor communication.
- Assist during installations and client meetings as needed.
- Organize studio supplies, keep the workspace presentation-ready, and assist in day to-day studio operations.
- Maintain project documentation and help with digital file organization.
- Additional duties or tasks, as assigned.
Showroom Sales Floor
- Greet clients and visitors to the showroom with professionalism and warmth.
- Guide clients through product selections and answer questions about materials, finishes, and design options.
- Assist with sales inquiries, sample orders, and product availability checks.
- Support showroom merchandising and ensure displays reflect brand standards.
- Collaborate with design and project teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field, preferred, but not required.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships in high-end design firms a plus).
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp or similar programs. Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Microsoft Office; a plus.
- Strong eye for materials, color, and composition.
- Excellent organizational, adaptability and time-management skills.
- Passion for luxury design, craftsmanship, and the client experience.
- Professional demeanor and personal presentation, team-oriented, and eagerness to learn.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
