The Senior Designer will report directly to the Digital Design Director. This individual will be responsible for designing print and digital deliverables from concept to completion as well as art directing photoshoots. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and problem solver with experience designing for all channels, who understands the opportunities and limitations of channels to best tailor design and messaging to the placement.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who’s receptive to feedback, adaptable, proactive, and comfortable with changing priorities. This individual should be able to take direction and thrive in a collaborative environment. Beyond that, we are looking for someone who can not only surface great ideas, but who can sell those ideas up and defend them across the department.

Key job responsibilities
- Designing large scale, business critical projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision.
- Creating assets for in-store, digital and social media environments.
- Implementing a strong working knowledge of visual design, brand, interaction design, user-centered experience design and the creative process
- Helping mentor and lead creative staff to maintain consistent creative quality and brand execution.
- Art directing photoshoots.
- Confidently presenting creative to stakeholders.
Skills:
- Strong work ethic, organization and time management—ability to prioritize work well.
- Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Experience art directing photoshoots.
- Ability to learn and be comfortable with multiple projects across media.
- Ability to communicate well— sharing your ideas, presenting to leadership, leading photoshoots, sharing feedback with other designers, etc.
- Strong illustration skills. This job requires quick visualization of ideas.

- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years of digital advertising and client facing roles experience
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma/Sketch
- and Microsoft Office Suite
- Awareness and interest in new platforms, technologies and related media

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
