UX Designer
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Primary: UX Designers and Visual Designers
Experience: 4 to 7+
Roles & Responsibilities
- Proven experience as a UX Designer and Web Developer, preferably in a data science or analytics environment.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or similar frameworks).
- Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating both UX design and web development projects, especially those involving data visualization or model interaction.
- Experience with enterprise web applications and complex workflows.
- Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Python, Node.js) is a plus.
- Knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
- Understanding of web performance optimization and security best practices.
- Experience with Agile Methodology and tools (JIRA or Rally)
- Collaborate with data scientists, data analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate analytical outputs into user-friendly designs.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web applications that visualize and present model results.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate on designs based on feedback.
- Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant web applications using modern web technologies.
- Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and design systems across all digital products.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Stay current with UX best practices, design trends, and web development technologies.
Salary Range- $70,000-$90,000 a year
