Job description – DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer (2 years of experience) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building, deploying, and maintaining scalable systems, with strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and automation tools

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
• Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Manage and monitor servers, containers, and applications for performance, availability, and security.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure smooth code integration and delivery.
• Set up and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Ensure best practices for backup, disaster recovery, and security compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest DevOps tools and practices to improve processes

Requirements:

• Understanding of reliable data-centric services and applications in GCP
• Good hands-on experience with Linux, cPanel/WHM, AWS, and Azure cloud.
• Able to manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes/ issues.
• Offer technical support where needed, developing software for our back-end systems.
• Experienced in designing, managing, supporting, and maintaining Azure cloud environments as well as security controls for the environments or Azure security policies.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with Container Orchestration platforms – Docker, Kubernetes environments, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.
• Knowledge of databases such as SQL, MS SQL, and MySQL.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, and PHP
• Should have working experience on AWS, CICD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes

Qualifications: At least a bachelor's degree in computer science (Software Engineering).

Experience: 2 years of related experience in Technology architecture and DevOps roles, preferably.
