Diagnostic Engineer

We’re Hiring: Diagnostic Engineer

Location: Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi

Industry: IoT / Cybersecurity

Salary: PKR 65,000 – 70,000/month

Qualification: B.E. in Electronics

Experience: Minimum 2 years in a related role

Key Responsibilities:

1) Hardware Diagnostics & Fault Isolation Perform full-cycle diagnostic tests on faulty/returned hardware units. Identify component-level hardware issues using tools such as multimeter and oscilloscope. Document root causes and propose permanent hardware fixes

2) Firmware & Configuration Validation Flash and verify device firmware Validate communication protocols including GSM, GPS, CAN, MQTT, etc. Perform post-repair checks such as OTA updates, location lock, and data stream validation

3) Repair Coordination Work closely with Repair Engineers and the Test Bench team to ensure timely issue resolution Maintain detailed repair logs and update internal systems accordingly

4) Quality Feedback Loop Share insights on recurring issues with R&D and Product teams Support firmware bug identification and contribute to QC process improvements
