Diesel Technician - Employer Paid Health Insurance

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Duties

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative services on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and conduct necessary repairs efficiently.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to assess vehicle performance.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and operational goals.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulics.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and computer-based repair systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift heavy parts and work in various conditions.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).

The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $26.00 - $30.00. Hourly pay rate offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work.
