The Role We are looking for a detailed-oriented and energetic Digital Marketing Account Manager to join our team in Sacramento. In this role, you will be the bridge between our clients and our technical team, ensuring campaigns run smoothly and clients stay happy.

Important: This is a hybrid position based in the Greater Sacramento area. You must reside locally to attend in-office days (Tue-Thu).

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for your designated clients. You will maintain ongoing communication via email, video calls, and in-person meetings to ensure satisfaction and clarity.
  • Campaign Oversight: Oversee the progress of digital campaigns, including SEO, web design projects, and Paid Search (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.).
  • Data Interpretation & Strategy: Review performance reports created by our technical team. Your goal is to interpret the data—analyzing keyword rankings, conversions, and ROI—and clearly communicate the "story" of the campaign's success to the client.
  • Growth & Agency Reputation: Identify upsell opportunities to help clients grow their accounts. Additionally, you will actively request reviews for Strive Marketing (Google Business Profile or video testimonials). We offer a bonus for every review you secure: $50 for a written review and $100 for a video review!
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales and technical teams on strategic initiatives and assist with general agency operations to support business growth.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in an agency setting is preferred. A degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications is a plus.
  • Local: Currently lives in the Greater Sacramento area (Required).
  • Tech Stack: Proficiency in Google Suite (especially Google Sheets) is required. Experience with ClickUp is highly preferred as it is our primary project management tool. Familiarity with similar software (like Asana or Monday) is also a plus. Experience with HighLevel CRM is preferred, though familiarity with Hubspot or Salesforce is acceptable.
  • Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to explain complex marketing concepts clearly.
  • Traits: You are a natural problem solver who is organized, results-oriented, and adaptable. You are not "camera shy" and are comfortable asking for reviews and business.
