The Job at a Glance

The Digital Marketing Assistant is responsible for executing the marketing strategy, provided by the Digital Marketing Manager, to acquire, engage, and retain members. This role will help drive digital growth by launching campaigns across various marketing channels, including email marketing, website, SEO, paid advertising, and digital banking.

A Typical Day

• Leads by example living the credit union’s Vision, Mission, Core Values, and promotes a positive attitude towards change, progress, and new ideas.
• Supports campaign implementation, and ongoing management of CU1 website, email marketing, campaign landing pages and online banking platform.
• Create and track Urchin Tracking Modules (UTMs) and QR codes to track the effectiveness of online marketing campaigns across traffic sources.
• Regularly monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to report trends on marketing strategies to the Digital Marketing Manager.
• Follow guidance from the Digital Marketing Manager to perform continuous competitive research, recognize keyword opportunities, and monitor search engine rankings.
• Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager to grow leads, funnel optimization and overall conversions.

What We Look For

• 4-year college degree with emphasis on digital marketing preferred
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a digital marketing and/or agency environment preferred.
• Experience in email marketing platform, Website Content Management Systems, Google Analytics and SEO
• Knowledge of credit union industry and environment in which it operates.
• Light travel involved.
• Excellent presentation skills.
