JD: Digital Marketing Expert
Objective:
To maximize brand reach (local & international), drive customer acquisition, and increase marketplace sales through high‑impact digital marketing, social media strategy, and performance marketing.
About the Role (Founder Perspective)
We are building a multi‑vendor fashion marketplace and looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Expert who can think like a creator, marketer, and growth hacker.
This is NOT just a “posting” role — you will:
- Drive customer traffic + vendor visibility
- Turn content into sales
- Build a fashion brand identity
- Scale marketplace growth using data + creativity
The role combines content creator + designer + strategist + performance marketer
Core Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy & Management
- Develop and execute multi-platform social media strategy (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
- Plan and manage content calendars aligned with fashion trends, seasons, and campaigns
- Increase followers, engagement, and conversions (sales) [indeed.com]
- Monitor platform trends, algorithms, and viral content patterns [myjobmag.com]
- Manage daily posting, stories, reels, and short-form video content
2. Content Creation (Fashion-Focused)
- Create high-quality, trend-driven content for:
- Fashion collections
- Brand promotions
- Campaign launches
- Write engaging captions, hooks, and storytelling content
- Understand fashion aesthetics, seasonal trends, and Gen-Z preferences
- Repurpose content across platforms (e.g., TikTok → Instagram Reels → YouTube Shorts)
You are expected to act as: Content Creator + Copywriter + Trend Analyst
3. Graphic Design & Video Production
- Design visually appealing:
- Social media posts (carousels, banners)
- Ads creatives
- Campaign visuals
- Create and edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
- Use tools like:
- Photoshop / Canva
- Premiere Pro / CapCut
- Maintain brand consistency across all visuals
4. Paid Ads & Performance Marketing (Meta + More)
- Plan and manage Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram Ads)
- Optimize:
- Campaign structure
- Audience targeting
- Budget allocation
- Perform A/B testing for creatives, audiences, and copy
- Improve:
- ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)
- CTR / Conversion Rate
5. SEO & Organic Growth
- Optimize:
- Marketplace platform content
- Vendor product listings
- Blog/content pages
- Perform:
- Keyword research
- On-page SEO
- Content optimization
- Drive organic traffic growth from Google and search engines
6. Marketplace Growth & E‑Commerce Marketing
- Plan and execute strategies to:
- Increase GMV (sales volume)
- Acquire new customers
- Manage:
- Promotions
- Campaigns
- Seasonal sales (Eid, Winter, New Collection)
- Improve:
- Conversion funnel (traffic → purchase)
7. Influencer & Community Marketing
- Identify and collaborate with:
- Fashion influencers
- Micro-creators
- Manage influencer campaigns for:
- Product promotion
- Brand awareness
- Build and engage community:
- Respond to comments
- Manage DMs
- Maintain strong brand-customer relationship
8. Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze:
- Website traffic
- Campaign performance
- Sales conversion
- Use tools like:
- Google Analytics
- Meta Business Suite
- Generate reports and optimize campaigns based on data
9. Trend Monitoring & Innovation
- Stay updated with:
- Fashion trends
- Social media algorithms
- Viral formats
- Experiment with:
- New content formats
- Growth hacks
- AI tools for marketing
10. Value-Added Services (VAS) for Brands
- Act as an internal "Agency" for our brands, providing them with digital marketing consultancy to improve their specific storefront performance.
- Manage Email Marketing (Klaviyo/Mailchimp) and WhatsApp marketing sequences for abandoned carts and new arrivals.
