Digital Marketing Lead

Cairo, Egypt

Position Summary:


The Digital Marketing Lead is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and optimization of the company’s digital presence across owned, earned, and paid channels. This role plays a key function in driving brand visibility, consumer engagement, and revenue growth through digital initiatives including website management, e-commerce, SEO/SEM, digital advertising, analytics, and content strategy. The ideal candidate has a strong blend of technical proficiency, consumer insight, and creative execution, with experience in the home appliances, consumer goods, or retail sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Digital Strategy & Execution


  • Develop and implement the company’s digital marketing strategy aligned with business and brand objectives.
  • Oversee all digital touchpoints including corporate website, product pages, social media, mobile platforms, and email marketing.
  • Lead the roadmap for digital innovation, including personalization, automation, and omnichannel integrations.


Website Management


  • Oversee the day-to-day management of brand websites and landing pages, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.
  • Manage web development resources (internal or agency) for site updates and enhancements.
  • Ensure site content is current, accurate, and aligned with campaign messaging.



SEO, SEM & Performance Marketing


  • Lead organic and paid search strategies to drive qualified traffic and improve conversions.
  • Oversee SEO audits, keyword planning, and technical optimization.
  • Manage digital ad campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and other platforms to support brand awareness and lead generation.


Data, Analytics & Optimization


  • Track and report on digital KPIs including web traffic, conversion rates, engagement, etc.
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously test and optimize performance (A/B testing, funnel analysis, heat mapping, etc.).


Content & Social Media Oversight


  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and agencies to ensure consistent messaging across all digital assets.
  • Guide digital content strategy including blogs, videos, how-to guides, and influencer-generated content.
  • Oversee social media execution, engagement strategies, and performance tracking.



Collaboration & Stakeholder Management


  • Work closely with product, brand, sales, and IT teams to align digital activities with broader company goals.
  • Manage external partners and agencies including developers, media buyers, and creative teams.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitor digital activity, and consumer behavior insights.



E-Commerce & Online Sales Support


  • Collaborate with e-commerce teams and retail partners to optimize digital shelf performance.
  • Manage digital merchandising strategies including A+ content, image optimization, and keyword performance.
  • Coordinate with internal product and marketing teams to support online product launches and promotional campaigns.


QUALIFICATIONS:


Education & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, E-Commerce, Business, or related field (Master’s a plus).
  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing or digital commerce, preferably in a consumer goods or home appliance company.
  • Demonstrated success managing digital channels and driving e-commerce growth.


Technical Skills


  • Proficient with digital platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Manager.
