Director Ecommerce

iGATE Technology is a Pakistan-based ecommerce solutions provider delivering end-to-end support across ecommerce operations, branding, marketing, and business growth. Working across the e-learning space, the team helps brands strengthen their digital presence, improve customer experiences, and unlock sustainable online growth.

As Director Ecommerce, you will shape the strategy behind branded website sales and help drive the next phase of online growth. This is a leadership role with broad influence across ecommerce performance, customer experience, and cross-functional execution, bringing together commercial thinking, digital expertise, and strong team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the ecommerce strategy to improve customer experience, drive sales, and increase conversion rates.
• Oversee the ecommerce team, ensuring they are working effectively and efficiently to deliver against business goals.
• Optimize the brand's online presence across websites, ecommerce platforms, and omnichannel strategies.
• Manage budgets and track performance against commercial objectives.
• Report on KPI performance, budget updates, and ecommerce growth plans to senior leadership or the board.

Requirements

Qualification

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in ecommerce, with a track record of delivering significant revenue growth
• Data-driven mindset and analytical skills, with experience using tools such as Google Analytics and Hotjar
• Proven experience optimizing a brand's online presence across websites, ecommerce platforms, and omnichannel strategies
• Experience managing a cross-functional team, with an understanding of the fundamentals of digital marketing and UX design
• Strong experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets
• Experience reporting KPI performance, budget updates, or ecommerce growth plans to senior leadership or the board
• Eligible to work in Pakistan
