Overview
Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced District Logistics Lead to manage logistics operations for a major mixed-use waterfront development featuring large-scale earthworks, artificial waterways, beaches, and adjacent infrastructure such as stadiums. The role requires expertise in phased logistics, complex access and haul route planning, environmental compliance, and multi-stakeholder coordination within an active, evolving site.
Responsibilities
- Lead logistics strategy, master planning, and phased execution for earthworks and waterfront development areas
- Manage haul route planning, traffic management, and access control for high-volume earthmoving operations in constrained, live environments
- Coordinate logistics interfaces with adjacent developments such as stadiums and infrastructure assets
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements related to waterways, earthworks, and marine activities
- Identify logistics risks and develop contingency and mitigation plans to safeguard operational continuity
- Facilitate multi-stakeholder coordination meetings with contractors, authorities, operators, and project teams
- Support program alignment, operational readiness, and phased logistics handover for completed assets
- Drive a proactive, safety- and environment-first logistics culture across site operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or Logistics or a related field
- Minimum 18 years of relevant experience
- Experience in construction logistics, with a focus on large-scale earthworks, waterfront, and mixed-use developments
- Proven expertise in haul route and traffic management planning for earthworks logistics
- Strong knowledge of environmental and safety regulations governing waterways, earthworks, and infrastructure interfaces
- Demonstrated experience in phased logistics planning and interface coordination for complex, active construction sites
- Effective multi-stakeholder coordination, risk management, and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience on giga/mega mixed-use waterfront projects or artificial waterway developments
- Professional certifications such as CILT, CIPS, CM-L (Construction Management Logistics), PMP, or equivalent
- Proficiency in logistics planning software, digital twins/BIM, and environmental management systems
- Prior involvement in operational readiness and phased handover logistics for waterfront assets and public infrastructure
