Job Description:

Job Title: Assistant Director of Construction Management

Location: Hollywood, FL (Onsite | Local Travel Required)

Pay Range: 150K to 200K (Negotiable)

Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

Job Overview:

Seeking a senior-level construction leader to support the Director of Construction Management in overseeing commercial capital improvement projects. This role involves departmental operations support, project oversight, stakeholder coordination, and executive-level reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple commercial construction projects from design through completion
• Support and guide Project Managers and cross-functional teams
• Conduct site visits and ensure quality, budget, and schedule adherence
• Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and internal departments
• Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for executive leadership
• Help enforce departmental processes and construction standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 7–10+ years of progressive commercial construction management experience
• Experience with schools, office buildings, healthcare, or similar commercial projects
• Strong contract, budget, and schedule management skills
• Proven leadership and stakeholder coordination experience
• Comfortable working onsite full-time with local travel
