Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing Datavault AI’s global marketing strategy across brand, product, investor-facing communications, and go-to-market initiatives. This role operates at the intersection of technology, capital markets, partnerships, and revenue growth, ensuring consistent messaging and disciplined execution across all channels.
The Director of Marketing will lead integrated marketing efforts spanning corporate brand, product marketing, PR/communications, demand generation, events, and ecosystem partnerships—while maintaining rigor appropriate for a public, innovation-driven company.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Define and execute Datavault AI’s marketing vision and roadmap aligned with corporate strategy and growth objectives.

Translate complex technologies (AI, data monetization, digital twins, Web3, credentialing) into clear, credible market narratives.

Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership on positioning, messaging, and market expansion.
Brand, Product & Platform Marketing

Own product and platform position across Acoustic Science and Data Science divisions.

Lead launch strategies for new technologies, partnerships, and enterprise offerings.

Ensure consistent value propositions across sales, investor, and partner materials.
Investor-Facing & Corporate Communications

Partner closely with Investor Relations to support earnings, conference participation, roadshows, and retail-friendly narratives.

Oversee press releases, thought leadership, executive messaging, and corporate storytelling with compliance awareness.

Manage external PR agencies and communications partners.
Demand Generation & Growth

Drive demand generation strategies across enterprise, events, sports, media, and institutional markets.

Support pipeline growth with campaigns, content, and enablement aligned to Sales and Customer Success.

Track and optimize marketing performance using data-driven KPIs.
Events & Partnerships

Lead strategy and execution for industry events, conferences, and experiential activations.

Support strategic partnerships and co-marketing initiatives with technology, media, and institutional partners.

Ensure strong pre- and post-event ROI measurement.
Team & Operational Management

Build, lead, and mentor a high-performance marketing team across disciplines.

Establish operational rigor, workflows, timelines, and accountability.

Own budget planning, vendor management, and resource allocation.
Qualifications

12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including senior-level roles.

Experience in technology, data, SaaS, AI, media, fintech, or adjacent innovation-driven sectors.

Demonstrated success operating in or alongside public company environments.

Strong command of PR, brand strategy, product marketing, and go-to-market execution.

Exceptional communication skills with executive, investor, partner, and customer audiences.

Data-driven mindset with experience measuring ROI and performance metrics.

Proven ability to lead through complexity, rapid change, and growth.
Preferred Experience

Experience supporting investor relations or capital markets communications.
