We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Director of Software Engineering to lead our International Mobility product engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting the technical vision, leading a high-performing engineering team, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to build innovative software solutions that simplify and streamline the global mobility experience for our clients.
Your leadership will be critical in driving the development of scalable, secure, and user-centric platforms that manage complex processes such as immigration, global assignments, and corporate relocation. You will be a key leader in our organization, balancing technical expertise with strong people management and business acumen.
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Define and execute the technical strategy and roadmap for our International Mobility products, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Collaborate closely with product management, design, and business stakeholders to translate product requirements into technical specifications and a clear engineering plan.
Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring the team delivers high-quality, scalable, and secure applications in a timely manner.
Drive architectural decisions and champion best practices in software development, code reviews, testing, and deployment.
Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively to meet product launch goals.
Serve as a thought leader on the latest technologies and industry trends, applying them to solve complex international mobility challenges.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering leadership role, managing teams of 10 or more software engineers.
Extensive experience with the full software development lifecycle and a deep understanding of modern software architecture.
Proven ability to define and execute a technical strategy that supports business goals.
Strong people leadership skills, including mentoring, performance management, and career development.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across the organization.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Domain experience in international mobility, immigration, HR technology, or a related field.
Experience with a modern web stack (e.g., React, Node.js, Python, Java) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience building and scaling B2B SaaS applications.
