Summary: The Director of Well-being & Workplace Experience is responsible for creating and implementing strategies that foster a healthy, engaging, and inclusive work environment. This role ensures employees feel supported physically, mentally, and emotionally while optimizing the workplace experience to drive productivity, collaboration, and retention.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive well-being and workplace experience strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Integrate well-being principles into company culture, policies, and practices.

Well-being Programs

  • Design initiatives for mental health, physical wellness, and emotional resilience.
  • Implement programs such as counseling support, fitness and nutrition plans, and stress management workshops.
  • Partner with external vendors for wellness services and resources.
  • Financial Well-being: Introduce programs that support employees’ financial health.

Workplace Experience

  • Enhance office and remote work environments to ensure comfort, flexibility, and inclusivity.
  • Oversee workplace amenities, ergonomics, and technology to support hybrid work models.
  • Collaborate with Facilities and IT to deliver seamless employee experiences.

Employee Engagement

  • Organize events, campaigns, and activities that promote community and belonging.
  • Collect feedback through surveys and focus groups to continuously improve programs.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all initiatives.

Sustainability & Community Impact

  • Launch initiatives that promote sustainability and environmental responsibility.
  • Organize volunteer programs and partnerships with community organizations.
  • Provide sustainability awareness training for employees.

Data & Reporting

  • Conduct post-event surveys to gather feedback & measure impact.
  • Track and report on well-being and experience metrics (engagement scores, participation rates, health outcomes).
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Budget & Vendor Management

  • Manage budgets for well-being and workplace experience programs.
  • Negotiate and maintain relationships with wellness and experience vendors.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in HR, Employee Engagement, Workplace Experience, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in workplace experience, employee engagement, or well-being leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of mental health, wellness programs, and hybrid work strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage budgets effectively.
  • Passion for creating inclusive, engaging, and sustainable work environments.
