Role Summary
The
Director - Supply Chain
is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the regional supply chain & Business Cycle operations in a sector. The role holder will provide strategic direction, ensure operational excellence, and drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes. He/she will work closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, demand planning, and operations, to optimize supply chain activities and support the company's overall growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction goals.
ROLE PROFILE

Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy for the region aligned with the company's overall business objectives

Provide leadership and guidance to a team of supply chain managers, supervisors, and specialists within the region

Oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations within the region, including demand planning, warehousing, transportation, and distribution

Ensure alignment with corporate supply chain strategies, policies, and standards while accounting for regional requirements and market dynamics

Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of all import and export activities, ensuring compliance with international regulations, customs requirements, and trade laws.

Develop and manage relationships with key external partners, including logistics providers, customs brokers, and international suppliers, to streamline import/export processes

Monitor and address any international shipping or transportation challenges to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods across borders.

Manage the entire supply chain business cycle, including procurement, production, distribution, and inventory management, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts, demand planning, and customer expectations.

Implement strategies to minimize disruptions during fluctuations in the business cycle, balancing supply and demand effectively.

Lead demand forecasting for DCs and stores using data-driven models
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred

Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain operations, including regional or multi-site management, within the retail industry

Strong knowledge of warehousing best practices, inventory management, and distribution operation

Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive change, influence stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
