Purpose Of Your Work
As
Dispatch Operations
working within
F/X,
you will be responsible for providing critical day-to-day support to the operations team by load tracking, data entry, equipment management, and assisting with accounts receivable. You will also assist the operational teams of planning, fleet management, and customer service.
How You Make a Difference Everyday
Fleet Operations (support)

Load updates to Customers and Brokers by phone/email

Assist Planning group with rate con uploading and building of loads
-
Assist Planning group with verifying PTAs for trucks on Planning boards for accuracy

Efficient and effect problem-solving related to freight shipments
-
Monitor shipment status in-transit and communicates updates to other departments as needed
-
Coordinate with Capacity Utilization Planners and Customer Service Representatives to ensure that all accepted orders meet transit expectations

Support driver development, education, and training related to Operations and Safety policy and procedure
-
Make safety-conscious decisions in cooperation with the Department of Safety and Compliance
-
Help with Review of driver settlements for accuracy

Assist with special projects or mass communication for operations and safety

When needed provide back up for Fleet Management (OTR/Local), Planning, and Customer Service
Trailer Equipment and Utilization
-
Monitor trailer annuals and preventative maintenance report/expirations
-
Monitor trailer activity weekly for utilization and not out of network
-
Conduct yard checks for excessively dormant trailers
-
Monitor trailer tracking equipment is working/set up repair in El Paso or McAllen
-
Physical Damage and communicate with Maintenance manager and Lead Mechanic

Manage special projects(returns/swaps)
Accounts Receivable

POD Process/Approval

Legible and Clear

Shipper/Receiver match TMS

All pages of POD accounted for (Multiple pages if POD states 1 of 4, etc.)

Lumper receipts and misc. all scanned in

Working with A/R team as FX representative

Reviewing and Managing Aging Report

Non payments, shorty pays, overpays, lumpers, etc.

Utilizing Transflo EZ View for document management

Connecting and/or locating correct contacts at Brokerages to handle disputes for non-payments, short payments, etc.

Working with Fleet Management on securing any missing paperwork that is holding up payment

Helping A/R team identify where to apply payments when no remittance provided

Computer proficiency required for transportation management system ("TMS") and Microsoft Office products including Outlook

Minimum 1-year experience at operational role at trucking company or freight brokerage preferred

Bilingual preferred (English-Spanish)

Work Schedule
This position is full-time and onsite Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM MST with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.
Compensation Range
Salary Range:
$40,000 - $42,000
This position is eligible to earn quarterly incentives based on individual and company performance.
The estimated pay range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographical location in which the applicant lives and/or which they will be performing the job.
