Job Summary: As an Emergency Dispatcher at Veer, you will be the first and most critical point of contact for individuals facing a medical emergency. You are the calm voice that provides life-saving guidance while simultaneously directing first responders, ambulance services, and patients to the right hospital. This role requires quick thinking, clear communication, and a strong sense of empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming emergency calls and collect crucial information from callers, including location, nature of the emergency, and contact details.
  • Provide clear, real-time first-aid instructions over the phone to callers to help them stabilize a patient before help arrives.
  • Dispatch and guide Field Responders to the emergency location efficiently.
  • Coordinate and guide ambulance services to the emergency location.
  • Make a decision on the right hospital for the right emergency based on the information provided by the caller and our internal framework.
  • Log and document all call details accurately in our system.
  • Remain calm and professional under pressure, providing a reassuring presence to distressed callers.
  • Occasional night shift duties will be required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English, Kannada, and Hindi.
  • Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions in high-stress situations.
  • Strong active listening and problem-solving skills.
  • A medical background (e.g., nurse, paramedic, EMT) is a strong advantage.
  • Prior experience in a call center, customer service, or emergency dispatch is a plus.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
