Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dispatcher to join our logistics team. Duties

• Coordinate daily dispatch activities for drivers, helping them to plan routes and schedules.
• Monitor GPS data to track vehicle locations, optimize routing, and respond swiftly to any delays or issues.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, warehouse staff, and customers via multi-line phone systems, ensuring clear instructions and updates are relayed promptly.
• Enter data accurately into logistics platforms and transportation management systems to document shipments, delivery statuses, and related information.
• Manage shipping & receiving schedules, ensuring proper documentation for freight movement to brokers and internal teams.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards by adhering to shipping & receiving protocols while practicing professional phone etiquette and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with dispatching in a logistics or transportation environment; familiarity with freight operations is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of transportation planning, fleet management, and supply chain processes.
• Experience with GPS tracking devices and multi-line phone systems for effective communication.
• Exceptional communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette.
• Strong typing skills for accurate data entry; familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures is a must.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
