Role Summary

A logistics dispatcher is responsible for coordinating drivers, vehicles, and deliveries to make sure goods are transported on time and efficiently.

Main Duties

Typical daily responsibilities include:

• Assign delivery jobs to drivers and trucks
• Plan routes to ensure fast and cost-effective delivery
• Track shipments and monitor driver progress
• Communicate with drivers, warehouse, and customers
• Solve delivery issues (delays, breakdowns, wrong location)
• Prepare dispatch documents (invoices, delivery notes, schedules)
• Update systems (ERP / logistics software)
• Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures
• Coordinating warehouse loading schedules
• Managing fleet operations
• Handling import/export or freight shipments
