Location: Lorton, VA (In-Office)

As a Dispatcher, you'll be the hub between customers, technicians, and the office, making sure the right technician gets to the right job at the right time while keeping customers informed and satisfied. Key Responsibilities

  • Dispatch technicians to daily service calls based on skills, location, and schedule
  • Manage the dispatch board to keep technicians productive and jobs running efficiently
  • Communicate with customers to confirm dispatch, arrival windows, and schedule changes
  • Monitor job progress and adjust the schedule as needed throughout the day
  • Debrief technicians after calls to confirm job details, documentation, and next steps
  • Follow up on open estimates and recommended work to help convert opportunities
  • Coordinate return visits, permits, inspections, and special-order parts
  • Support customer satisfaction efforts, happy calls, and positive reviews
  • Communicate regularly with the Service Manager and office team
  • Maintain accurate notes, reports, and dispatch records

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree a plus)
  • 1 or more years of customer-facing, scheduling, dispatch, or coordination experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve scheduling challenges
  • Comfortable using computers, phones, and office software (Excel/Word)
  • Bilingual a plus, not required

Pay and Benefits

  • Employment type: Full-time, W-2 employee
  • Pay: Starts at $20-25 per hour, depending on experience, plus performance bonuses

**Some benefits are eligible 1st of the month after 60 days. The company pays 50% of the employee cost.
