1. Job Purpose:
The Distribution Officer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient distribution of products to our customers while maintaining high levels of accuracy and customer satisfaction.
2. Key Accountabilities / Deliverables:
- Coordinate the distribution of products to customers, ensuring timely delivery and accurate order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement distribution strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the team to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Oversee the transportation of products, and managing transportation schedules.
- Manage distribution staff, Driver, Decanters.
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure that products meet company standards before distribution.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other relevant data.
- Analyze distribution processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the distribution process.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, to address customer inquiries and resolve distribution-related issues.
3. Job Specification:
- Bachelor's degree, Logistic, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 2 to 3 Years of Experience in relevant field
4. Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Goal-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
