District Manager
Location: Sukkur
Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Social Sciences/Education/Development Studies or equivalent
Experience: The candidate should have 5-7 years' experience of planning, delivering and managing educational projects in the development sector preferably in community development. Key Skills and Competencies:

Job Description:
- Ensure the effective implementation of all project activities in line with the plan, budget, and timelines.
- Provide regular project updates to the Program Lead/Coordinator.
- Coordinate with Government Departments, Private Associations, and relevant stakeholders for project execution.
- Plan, schedule, and organize meetings/events, maintaining proper records and agendas.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly work plans, along with budget requirements.
- Organize and participate in program activities in project districts, ensuring engagement in meetings and providing input for program planning.
- Develop and maintain strong linkages with public and private stakeholders in Punjab.
- Ensure the timely preparation and submission of quarterly, biannual, and annual progress reports.
- Oversee district-level program activities to achieve objectives within set timelines and budgets.
- Conduct weekly meetings with program teams in Ghotki and Shikarpur.
- Lead and engage in advocacy campaigns as part of project initiatives.
- Support the planning and execution of ITA-SEF Schools activities in Sindh (Sukkur, Shikarpur, Ghotki, and Mitiari).
- Conduct regular field visits for monitoring and evaluation of schools, ensuring effective follow-up support.
- Assist in developing and implementing School Development Plans (SDPs).
- Support coordinators and head teachers in planning and executing field activities.
- Ensure community involvement in school activities, fostering ownership, student enrollment, and retention.
- Maintain partnerships and relationships with SEF, Government Officials (DEO & TEO), and local organizations.
- Oversee financial record-keeping for ITA Sukkur office expenses and schools.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of project activities to the Karachi office.
- Facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and clients for project coordination.
- Maintain field records and prepare reports on school-based activities and interactions with SEF.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager.
