Position Overview

The Deputy Manager Sales will be responsible for managing showroom sales operations, leading the sales team, and driving revenue growth. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent customer relationship management skills to ensure achievement of sales targets and superior customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily sales operations and supervise the sales team to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Coach and mentor sales staff to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer handling abilities.
  • Monitor team performance through KPIs, sales reports, and customer feedback, taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Engage directly with high-value clients and key accounts to secure business and foster long-term relationships.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and operations teams to optimize showroom presentation, promotions, and order fulfillment.
  • Handle customer escalations promptly and ensure excellent service standards are maintained.
  • Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends to support business growth.
  • Assist in recruitment, training, and development initiatives for sales personnel.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the furniture or lifestyle industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent customer relationship management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
