Job Title:
Documentation Executive – Logistics Department
Key Responsibilities:
- Import Documentation:
- Prepare shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, etc.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with customs, shipping, and export-import regulations.
- Customs & Compliance:
- Coordinate with CHA (Customs House Agents), freight forwarders, and shipping lines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of DGFT, customs duty, GST, and other regulatory requirements.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Liaise with transporters, warehouses, and shipping agents to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
- Track and update shipment status to internal departments and clients.
- Record Keeping & MIS:
- Maintain proper filing and digital records of all shipping documents.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to logistics and documentation.
- Communication & Support:
- Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Purchase, Accounts, Production) for smooth shipment processing.
- Handle queries related to shipments, documentation, and compliance.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Graduate - Commerce
- Experience: 5 to 7 years in logistics/-import documentation.
- Skills:
- Good knowledge of import procedures, incoterms, and customs compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems.
- Strong communication & coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹9,894.53 - ₹25,000.00 per month
