Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport and deliver materials across various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route navigation, and load management will ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction, excavation, or waste management projects while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Duties

• Operate dump trucks with manual transmission, ensuring safe handling and compliance with traffic laws and company policies
• Load and unload materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, or other freight using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Drive route-specific trucks including tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, or flatbed trucks to designated locations
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical issues and ensure vehicle safety standards are met
• Coordinate with site managers and dispatchers to plan routes efficiently and meet delivery schedules
• Assist with loading or securing freight when necessary, utilizing forklifts or other equipment as required

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for dump trucks and heavy-duty vehicles
• Proven experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or roll-off trucks in a commercial setting
• Familiarity with manual transmission driving techniques
• Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety regulations in the transportation industry
• Ability to operate specialized equipment such as forklifts or tanker trucks when needed
• Strong understanding of freight handling including flatbed, refrigerated trailer, or tanker loads if applicable
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
