Dump Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport and deliver materials across various job sites. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, adherence to safety standards, and efficient load handling. Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks with manual transmission safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load, unload, and secure freight or materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks.
• Transport construction materials, debris, or other freight along designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to identify mechanical issues and maintain vehicle safety standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery records for compliance purposes.
• Assist with route planning to optimize delivery schedules and reduce fuel consumption.
• Collaborate with site managers and team members to coordinate pickups and drop-offs at multiple locations.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving, including commercial driving with a focus on dump trucks or tractor-trailers.
• Strong knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and efficiently.
• Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tankers, or freight hauling is a plus.
• Familiarity with forklift operation for handling freight loads when necessary.
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
