E-Commerce Fulfillment Coordinator - Zara Egypt

Job purpose:

The E-Commerce Fulfillment Coordinator is responsible for managing the entire process of fulfilling and delivering e-commerce orders. He/she oversees the warehouse, handles systems operations, supervises inbound and outbound processes and ensures the achievement of operational key performance indicators (KPIs).

Responsibilities:

• Manage the warehouse operation in the absence of the manager and assign tasks to the staff accordingly.
• Participate in the development and implementation of security control procedures for warehouse operations.
• Ensure proper application of the inventory control group activities that are assigned to determine packaging and delivery requirements.
• Ensure that stock is managed according to agreed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and that team members are trained in and correctly using IT systems.
• Supervise the receipt, inspection, storage cataloging, inventorying and distribution of stock commodities in accordance to set regulations.
• Notify relevant stakeholders of any discrepancies in stock counts, including shortages, excesses, or defective items received from suppliers.
• Coordinate the surveillance and investigation of stock shortages, deviations from specifications, damages to shipments and delivery of partial shipments, resolves detected discrepancies by following up with vendors and freight companies and submitting appropriate reports.
• Oversee the regular transfer of documents between the stores and the other departments to ensure proper operation of processes.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures in the receiving, storage, and dispatch areas. Implement adequate health and safety procedures to protect staff in accordance with local regulations.

Language & Technical Skills:

• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse fulfillment process.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Zero to two years of experience in E-Commerce, or a similar role.
