Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key e-commerce retailers and category managers across major marketplaces.
- Negotiate pricing, promotional terms, and sales targets with online retailers to achieve optimal sales performance.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with emerging e-commerce platforms especially quick-commerce.
- Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce sales strategies aligned with overall brand goals and market trends.
- Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities, optimize product mix, and adjust pricing strategies as needed.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform sales strategy and product positioning.
- Product Listing Optimization:
- Ensure and execute accurate and compelling product listings on all e-commerce platforms, including detailed descriptions, high-quality images, and relevant keywords (keeping in mind keywords for high sales).
- Manage product content updates and cataloging to maintain consistency across marketplaces.
- Marketing and Promotion Execution:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute online marketing campaigns tailored to specific e-commerce platforms.
- Manage digital marketing initiatives like sponsored product ads, influencer marketing, and content marketing to drive traffic and conversions.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) like sales volume, conversion rates, and customer reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Generate comprehensive sales reports, providing insights to the sales and marketing teams to inform future strategies.
- Inventory Management:
- Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure optimal inventory levels on e-commerce platforms, minimizing stock outs and managing returns especially for FBAs & POs.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven track record of success in managing e-commerce sales on major online marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, etc.
- Skincare Industry Knowledge:
Deep understanding of the skincare market, including product categories, key ingredients, and consumer trends.
- Sales and Negotiation Skills:
Strong ability to build relationships, negotiate deals, and close sales with key e-commerce retailers.
Proficiency in data analysis to identify sales trends, customer behavior, and optimize strategies.
- Digital Marketing Understanding:
Familiarity with digital marketing tactics like PPC advertising, social media marketing, and content marketing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present information to stakeholders.
