Gulf Orchid Perfume Manufacturing is seeking a highly experienced E-Commerce Manager to lead, develop, and scale our digital commerce operations across owned platforms and third-party marketplaces. Responsible for driving sustainable online revenue growth, enhancing brand visibility, optimizing customer experience, and leading digital transformation initiatives within the perfume and FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the e-commerce strategy aligned with business growth, brand positioning, and commercial objectives.
- Assume full commercial responsibility for the online business unit, driving revenue growth, profitability, and cost efficiency.
- Identify and implement new digital sales opportunities, marketplace expansion, and cross-border growth initiatives.
- Drive online performance through pricing strategies, product optimization, promotions, and customer retention programs.
- Oversee digital marketing activities including SEO, SEM, paid media, CRM, and performance analytics to maximize ROI.
- Lead content direction and ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms and campaigns.
- Conduct competitive analysis and continuously optimize customer journey, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Manage website content, product merchandising, and platform optimization (including Shopify back-end management).
- Collaborate with developers and external agencies to deliver digital projects from briefing to go-live.
- Ensure seamless customer experience across all devices and maintain operational excellence across platforms.
- Oversee daily e-commerce operations including product onboarding, stock accuracy, pricing, and order fulfillment coordination.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with logistics, finance, IT, marketing, and customer service teams.
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare executive dashboards and performance reports for senior management.
- Lead and develop the e-commerce team with clear KPIs, accountability, and continuous improvement focus.
- Manage external agencies, vendors, and technology partners to ensure quality delivery and compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce, IT, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 8–12 years of progressive experience in e-commerce, digital commerce leadership, or online retail management.
- Experience within FMCG, retail, beauty, or perfume industry is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in scaling online business performance and leading digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong expertise in performance marketing, marketplace management, CRM systems, and web analytics tools.
- Solid understanding of UX/UI principles, SEO strategy, digital content optimization, and customer journey design.
- Demonstrated leadership capability managing teams, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders.
