POSITION DESCRIPTION AND KEY MEASURES

Location: Torrance, CA (USA Support Center)

Department: eCommerce

Reports To: Head of E-Commerce Merchandising

Job Type: Entry-Level

POSITION PURPOSE AND EXPECTATION:

The E-Commerce Merchandiser Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of Lovisa’s regional e-commerce sites by assisting with product setup, on-site content updates, promotions, and merchandising activities. This is an entry-level role designed for someone eager to grow a career in e-commerce merchandising within a fast-paced retail environment. The Coordinator will work closely with senior team members and cross-functional partners to ensure site accuracy, timely updates, and a consistent customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the daily maintenance and execution of regional e-commerce sites across desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Assist with on-site content updates, including page builds, product selections, and asset uploads, under guidance from senior team members.
  • Help ensure product listings, pricing, and inventory details are accurate and updated in a timely manner.
  • Support promotional setup and takedown, including discounts and campaign-related site updates.
  • Assist with product categorization, tagging, and merchandising attributes to support site navigation and discoverability.
  • Compile and review basic performance and customer behaviour reports (e.g., product views, conversion, engagement) to support merchandising decisions.
  • Conduct competitor and industry research and share findings with the e-commerce team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support execution of merchandising initiatives.
  • Complete ad-hoc administrative and operational tasks as needed to support the e-commerce team.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, commerce, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Basic experience or exposure to an e-commerce platform (Shopify preferred).

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (filters, formulas, basic reporting).

  • Ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Internship or 1-2 years of experience in an e-commerce, digital merchandising, or retail operations.

  • Familiarity with online merchandising concepts and promotional execution.

  • Interest in data and learning how analytics support merchandising decisions.

Other duties and special projects within skill and competency level as required.

WORK SCHEDULE, FLEXIBILITY, AND TIMEKEEPING EXPECTATIONS

This position is classified as non-exempt and follows standard business hours. However, due to the collaborative and global nature of e-commerce operations, flexibility is required to attend meeting or support business needs outside of regular business hours on an as-needed basis.

All time worked – including time spent in meetings, phone calls, or responding to emails outside of standard business hours – will be compensated in accordance with California law.

Any work performed outside of standard scheduled hours must receive advance approval from the employee’s manager, except in urgent or time-sensitive situations as directed.

Employees are expected to accurately record all time worked, including any time spent working outside of standard business hours, to ensure proper compensation and compliance with company policy and applicable labor laws.
