About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized E-Commerce Operations Executive to manage the day-to-day operational backbone of our online store. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes – from product data accuracy to vendor coordination, financial tracking, and timely order dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly upload, update, and maintain product listings (titles, descriptions, images, variants, pricing, inventory levels, metafields, etc.) on Shopify.
- Ensure 100% data accuracy across the storefront, collections, tags, and SEO elements.
- Manage redirects, broken links, and site content updates as needed.
- Coordinate with the marketing/design team for new launches and promotions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all suppliers and third-party vendors.
- Place purchase orders, follow up on stock arrivals, and resolve quality/delay issues.
- Maintain vendor database and performance scorecards.
- Maintain accurate purchase, sales, and expense ledgers (using Google Sheets, Excel, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Reconcile Shopify payouts with bank statements and vendor payments.
- Track COD remittances, payment gateway fees, returns, and refunds.
- Oversee end-to-end order fulfillment: printing picklists, packing slips, and invoices.
- Coordinate with Logistic partners/courier companies for label generation and pickup scheduling.
- Ensure 99%+ same-day/next-day dispatch SLA.
- Handle NDR (Non-Delivery Report) cases, re-attempts, and returns logistics.
- Monitor and reduce RTO (Return to Origin) percentage.
- Resolve order-related queries (tracking, delays, wrong items, etc.).
- Process replacements, refunds, and exchanges in coordination with the customer support team.
Requirements & Skills
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce back-end operations (Shopify experience mandatory).
- Excellent command over Shopify admin (products, orders, discounts, themes, apps).
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic automation).
- Prior experience handling vendors and logistics partners in India.
- Basic accounting knowledge and comfort with maintaining ledgers.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills (English + Urdu).
