Position Overview
The eCommerce Manager oversees all aspects of St. Vincent de Paul of Central Texas’ online thrift store operations. This role ensures donated items are efficiently processed, listed, and sold through our eCommerce platforms. Using Upright Labs (Lister), the eCommerce Manager organizes inventory, creates compelling listings, monitors sales, and fulfills orders. This is a hands-on role best suited for someone who thrives in an independent, fast-paced environment while supporting a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management & Product Listing
- Organize and track incoming donations designated for eCommerce.
- Assess items for quality, condition, and resale value.
- Photograph merchandise and create accurate, engaging listings with detailed descriptions and pricing in Upright Labs Lister.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule to drive visibility and sales.
Online Sales & Platform Management
- Post and manage inventory across designated eCommerce platforms (via Upright Labs).
- Monitor sales activity and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
- Optimize listings with effective SEO, keywords, and pricing strategies.
- Generate sales and performance reports using Upright Labs and eBay analytics tools.
Order Fulfillment
- Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and on schedule.
- Ensure packaging meets quality standards to reduce returns and damage.
- Manage order tracking, returns, and refunds in line with store policies.
Operations & Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in Upright Labs.
- Track shipping expenses and recommend process improvements.
- Stay informed about resale market trends to maximize sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with store leadership to meet revenue goals and enhance online operations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in eCommerce, resale, or retail operations desirable.
- Experience with eBay and Upright Labs preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to work independently.
- Excellent written communication skills for product listings and customer service.
- Basic photography and computer proficiency.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and motivated to meet sales goals.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 30 lbs.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required; Photoshop skills preferred.
- Copywriting experience a plus.
- At least one year of experience working with a CMS in a retail eCommerce setting preferred.
Physical Demands
While performing this role, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, listen, and use hands to handle merchandise. Reaching, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs. is regularly required.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
