Ecommerce Merchandiser

India

1. Product Curation & Catalog Management

  • Select and onboard the right mix of products (flowers, cakes, personalized gifts, corporate gifts, etc.) aligned with customer preferences and seasonal demand.
  • Ensure proper categorization (occasions, festivals, relationships, price range, themes).
  • Manage product descriptions, attributes, high-quality images, and SEO-friendly content.
  • Monitor product availability, stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers/vendors.

2. Merchandising & Presentation

  • Design engaging product displays on the website/app (home page banners, landing pages, collection pages).
  • Run thematic campaigns (e.g., Diwali gifts, Valentine’s Day specials, Birthday surprises).
  • Optimize product placement for cross-selling & upselling (e.g., pairing flowers with chocolates).
  • Ensure consistent branding, visual appeal, and customer journey flow.

3. Promotions & Campaign Execution

  • Coordinate with marketing to set up offers, bundles, discounts, and festive sales.
  • Schedule and manage daily/weekly/monthly promotions.
  • Highlight bestsellers, new arrivals, and personalized gift options to maximize conversion.

4. Data-Driven Optimization

  • Analyze product performance (views, CTR, conversions, returns).
  • Track customer behavior, seasonal trends, and buying patterns.
  • Optimize pricing, visibility, and product assortment based on insights.
  • Work closely with category managers to phase out slow movers and push trending items.

5. Customer Experience Alignment

  • Ensure accurate personalization features (engraving, name printing, photo uploads) are visible and easy to use.
  • Reduce friction in the gift selection journey with filters (occasion, budget, relationship).
  • Collaborate with tech & UX teams for smooth checkout and customization processes.

6. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work with suppliers/vendors for new product onboarding, quality checks, and timely stock replenishment.
  • Collaborate with logistics to ensure gift delivery timelines are met (same-day/midnight delivery).
  • Align with customer support for issue resolution related to product misrepresentation or quality.

7. Seasonal & Festival Readiness

  • Anticipate demand spikes during festivals (Diwali, Rakhi, Christmas, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day).
  • Create festival-focused gift collections & ensure adequate stock.
  • Plan early campaigns, gifting guides, and cross-promotions.

Lead Generation & Conversion to Sales

  • Generate leads through online campaigns, inquiry forms, and corporate bulk gifting requests.
  • Nurture leads by sharing customized gift solutions, product bundles, and offers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to convert inquiries and leads into confirmed orders.
  • Use upselling and cross-selling strategies (e.g., add-on greeting cards, gift wrapping, premium hampers) to increase order value.
  • Track lead-to-sale conversion rates and continuously optimize strategies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,061.35 - ₹33,057.90 per month
