Job Summary

Appedology Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EDI Analyst to join our growing team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes, ensuring seamless data integration between systems and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EDI integrations and mappings
• Monitor daily EDI transactions and resolve errors promptly
• Work with clients and internal teams to gather EDI requirements
• Perform data mapping for formats such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON
• Troubleshoot EDI issues and ensure timely resolution
• Maintain documentation of EDI processes and workflows
• Support onboarding of new trading partners
• Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and system efficiency
• Assist in system upgrades, testing, and deployments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in EDI or system integration roles
• Strong knowledge of:
• EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT)
• Data formats (XML, JSON)
• Experience with EDI tools/platforms (e.g., IBM Sterling, BizTalk, Boomi)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities

Preferred Skills

• Experience with APIs and system integrations
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Exposure to international clients/projects
• Knowledge of cloud integration platforms
