Egypt - Operations Coordinator

Role Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Coordinator to join our team in Egypt. The purpose of this role is to provide professional support to customers, resolve shipment-related inquiries, and ensure a smooth flow of information between clients and operations. The role holder will also ensure accurate and timely preparation, verification, and release of shipping documentation in compliance with company policies and customer requirements.

Location: Cairo, Egypt

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving the shipping instructions from shippers & check space with shipping lines.
• Provide customer services through handling the documentation process, creating draft BLs to clients as well as final original/seaway bills of lading.
• Create invoices for shipments loaded on the vessels.
• Inspect loading operations to make sure that they comply with shipping specifications.
• Send documents abroad after sailing the vessels.
• Deliver B/Ls to the customers.

Who You Are:

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in shipping documentation, logistics, or a similar field.
  
• Bachelor’s degree or similar.
• Good knowledge of shipping documentation (e.g., Bills of Lading, customs requirements)
  
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Highly organized with good time-management skills
  
• Good problem solving & analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with freight forwarding or NVOCC operations (desirable).
• Experience with shipping software systems (desirable).
• Professional training or certification in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management (desirable).
• Familiarity with Incoterms, international shipping procedures, or customs regulations (desirable).
