Job Title: EHS Engineer – Pharma Project

Project Type: Upgradation of Building & Installation of Equipment at Site
Project Duration: 6 Months (Extension Based on Performance & Project Requirements)
Location: Haleon Jamshoro Site
Salary: Up to PKR 100,000 (Based on Experience & Expertise)

Job Purpose:
To ensure a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible work environment during the building upgradation and equipment installation project at the pharma site, through effective implementation of EHS standards and proactive risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Protocol Implementation: Develop and enforce safety protocols in compliance with local and state regulations.
• Site Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential safety and health hazards.
• Hazard Identification & Mitigation: Evaluate risks and implement preventive measures to ensure workplace safety.
• Safety Training: Organize and deliver training sessions to staff and workers on safety practices and regulatory compliance.
• Accident Investigation: Investigate incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Safety Reporting: Prepare detailed safety reports for management, highlighting issues and recommending improvements.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all construction and installation activities meet relevant safety and regulatory standards.
• Emergency Preparedness: Conduct safety drills and develop emergency response procedures.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain safe work conditions.
• Equipment Safety: Ensure construction and installation equipment is safe, operational, and well-maintained.
• Environmental Protection: Implement strategies to reduce the environmental impact of project activities.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training sessions, and safety compliance activities.

Required Certifications:

• ISO 14001 – Environmental Management Systems
• ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
• NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ relevant EHS experience (preferably in construction or pharmaceutical projects).
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and environmental management.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
