Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of electrical PCC crafts, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- Oversee inspection and testing of electrical systems, equipment, and components to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues during commissioning activities.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports on completed and ongoing activities.
- Enforce strict compliance with electrical safety protocols, regulations, and SIMOPS requirements.
- Conduct safety briefings and task instructions to foster a strong safety culture among team members.
- Prepare PCC PTW (Permit to Work) and ensure SIMOPS readiness.
- Manage PCC consumables, spare parts, and tools required for commissioning activities.
- Perform switching/energization of switchgear and switchboard equipment (LV/MV – 415V to 33kV).
- Ensure test site safety and readiness prior to commissioning.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the Commissioning Manager / Lead.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in electrical testing and commissioning, preferably within Oil & Gas projects.
- Proven supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Hands-on experience with switching programs/energization of electrical systems (LV/MV – 415V to 33kV).
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
