Position Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to lead the design and optimization of electrical systems for critical energy infrastructure, including pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities. This role offers the opportunity to apply technical expertise, integrate innovative technologies, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. As part of the team, you will manage projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budget. This is a high-impact role where your leadership and problem- solving abilities will directly contribute to operational safety, reliability, and strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution
- networks.
- Integrate advanced technologies such as automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage.
- Implement safety measures including arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems.
- Provide expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for new projects
- and upgrades.
- Manage engineering projects from planning through execution while meeting goals, timelines, and
- budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective engineering solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 4–5 years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industry.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with safety as a top priority.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC-based applications.
- Ability to review arc flash studies and implement improvements.
- Knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.).
Preferred:
- Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
- Project management experience.
- Background in Pre-FEED, FEED, or EPC projects (small to medium facilities).
- Proficiency in designing and implementing Instrumentation & Control systems, including PLCs and
- Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
